We had a small get together of women and had Paula do 45 minute massages for each of us. Every person that received a massage from Paula absolutely loved her. She is holistic in her approach, appears to know the body, is very professional and responsive. Sessions are “tailored” to each client. Consultations are provided so I can gain a better understanding of how I can help and what modalities can be utilized. During session, I am quite unless something needs to be communicated. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated! Never feel you cannot speak—-I really do want to hear from you! I will offer ways to communicate –often comical- during session, – i.e. “The Number Pain Scale”. This is paramount for successful, therapeutic results.
Many different modalities can be incorporated in a session from traditional to many new techniques which I have learned through the years. One of my most successful modalities is “BMT” (Body Mobilization Techniques) a favorite among clients, it is true deep tissue without painful pressure, often relaxing and produces excellent results! I also incorporate stretching unless contraindicated. These modalities are especially helpful to athletes, those who are physically demanding on their bodies and especially those who are spending more time working from home sitting at a desk!
